School, school, school! My family says school is pretty much all I talk about. I am a teacher, and my goal is for each student in my class to find success. I look for ways to improve what I do so that students can discover that they are productive learners with potential and tools to learn even more. I heard about Growth Mindset through other educators, mostly when I would see an infographic in which I saw ideas that I knew made sense for educators and for students. Growth Mindset, in my own words and in my world, is a way of thinking that says, "Okay, this is not easy to learn, but if I stick with it and ask for help, I will learn it." If a student doesn't "get" a concept the first time, we add that little and powerful word, "yet" to the sentence. This student doesn't get it yet. We will keep working on the concept or skill. As a teacher who believes Growth Mindset is real and possible to achieve, I am your partner and more importantly your child's partner in learning. Together we are going to learn what is set before us to learn in school this year. See and Read More About Growth Mindset:
